Walking through my garden which is now a burst of color, it was as if seeing it for the very first time. My friend, Noelle says, "know that flowers will come they always do every single year". I suppose when I paint, the canvas is like my garden, ready for color. My paintings celebrate women and the work they do. Often my paintings are not full of background as I like to capture the movement of each image. Some shy and quiet, others bold and expressive but always with a feel of respect. I am busy preparing for the Gallery reception at Gallery Saratoga and looking forward to seeing new and old friends. I am certain the day will be filled with a burst of color.
